A Different Point of View

Being a member of two camera clubs, I hear people say that they are tired of photographing the same old places. I have heard them say that everyone gets the same shots of the same old things. I say, you just aren't looking at it the right way.
Part of the fun of photography is studying your subject and then seeing how many different ways you can capture it. I love walking around and seeing things from different views. Often, the best picture is there right behind you.

I love this! What an incredible idea! As simple as it seems how often do we actually do this? Thank you, Regenia!

I try and look for other angles myself. I took a trip to a park recently that I go to a lot and I found all kind of things to photograph that I had never taken them in exactly the same way or seen them taken the way that I did. It was fun : ) Voted!

I've said it before - I will say it again . . . "You are an inspiration!" Thanks, Regeina. You do have my vote. R

You are so.....right. Art of any kind boils down to perspective and how one personally relates to their subject matter. Really love this essay. Sure gets my vote.

Right on! Maybe we should all start new accounts and put up nothing but photos of the same thing. See how many different ways we can photograph it/them.
