Little India

Toronto has a large south Asian population. Every year in the neighbourhood known as Little India, the South Asian street festival celebrates their food, customs and hospitality. The smells of spices and cooking and incense fill the air. You can have an intricate design painted on your hand with henna, enjoy the roasted corn, the bbq or chana or other delicious foods, or the exotic desserts and ice creams, just explore the many shops and restaurants or sit and watch the parade of people go by.
