Magical puddles

Water means Life : if no water, no life's possible...
At the same time, water has magical properties such as reflecting things like a mirror.
What I like in puddles is their temporary existence linked to raining events, water leak, cleaning... and so on !
While walking in city streets, my eyes are always caught by their bright surface and I can stand hours looking after the ephemeral forms appearing in water.
- This brightness of water is also the element that track down aquatic bettles and other insects in order to find puddles and ponds to rest, feed or breed -
Here is a selection of such magical moments I caught during my long walks in french cities...

I love these. They're like little viewports punched from one reality to the next.
