The Bloom

Stop, Look,
There they Grow,
And Here,
Take Them In, Let Them Fill Your Senses
See, their Petals, Veined,
Swaying from Side to Side to a Dance Choreographed by the Wind,
Their Scent,
At once Overpowering,
At once Subtle,
Exhibitionists of Nature, they are not Shy,
They Open Up,
They let us Peer Inwardly at their Curves,
Their Smooth Interior,
Erotic at Times,
Proud and Closed at other Times,
Fickle with their Colorful Seasonal Displays of Dress
We participate as an Audience in their Carneval Celebrations,
Until such Time when they Close and Sleep under a Blanket of White ,
Only to Reincarnate once again at the Creator's Delight,
Stop, Look,
There They Grow,
