Photo Essay

boys wear wings

sleeping fairy

my son is not a momma's boy

he is not a crybaby

he's not a pussy, a wimp, or a scaredy cat.

he does not need to be toughened up

or detached

or pushed.

he is who he is.

respect him as i do

for his intensity, his stare, his aversion.

his bond, his attachment, his fears.

he is who he is

and nothing you can say or do

will change that about him.

please love him for who he is.

he's exactly as he should be.

we are exactly as we should be.

he, my son.

me, his momma.
