it's a nice day. she didnt go to church today. just didnt feel like it. been two weeks since she did that. doctor told her not to get her foot wet. said she could put a plastic bag over it to keep it dry. she tried that yesterday but it got wet anyway. so she took a shower. took the bandages off, dried her foot as best she could and tried to rebandage it. didnt do a good job. doctor was afraid if she got her foot wet the stitches might break again & she'd have to go thru that "blood bath" again. she lost a lot of blood that thursday. she'll go to the doctor tomorrow. he might remove the stitches but might not. dont know for sure. he had a dear friend pass away this week. she would have been 100 years old her coming birthday. they were good friends. she always sat in church behind her. her close friend, the same age, they sat together. she hopes she's able to go to the funeral. if not, she'll send money as a memorial. that'll help her family. she had a big family. she was sitting on the deck this morning. she looked up and those little sparrows were in and out of the bird house. they're so cute. john mowed the lawn yesterday. his girlfriend has been on vacation the past two weeks in minnesota. she works at the yoga inn as a maid. she usually mows the yard with a weed whacker but she's going to have to wait awhile. she hopes all is well with you. she'll keep in touch.
