Sports + Portrait = SPortraits

When I was looking for a concentration selection for my AP Studio Art class in high school, I had a little trouble coming up with something.
My art teacher told our class that every year we were losing points because there were not enough people in our artwork. Also, he told us that we should pick something that was important to us.
I had taking pictures of sports for the yearbook for 3 years and that was something I wanted to when I got into college and after.
SPortraits seemed like the perfect thing for me. I would first find an athlete, and ask them if they wanted to have some portraits done, then I would set up a place to take the picture. Those were always the two hardest things for me.
I took a total of 20 portraits of athletes, so that gave me plenty to choose from because I only had to pick 12.
I received a 5 out 5 on my portfolio.
