Above my Courtyard

Pulmon de Aires #159

Project: Pulmon de Aires

What repeat itself can change, it's changing in this very moment.

One of the thousands Buenos Aires' pulmones de aire, courtyards, is changing: it's my pulmon.

Light is changing following sun's path in the sky, arrival of clouds transported by the winds, raindrops and thunderstorms' lightnings, moon phases. It changes when apartments' lights are turned on, when walls have being re-painted, when the ivy is pulling new leaves.

Cement is sad looking and moss stained, but acquires colors like a palette and comes to life covering the gray; in the same way the sky passes through all kinds of hues, from the most common to the ones mind cannot retain.

A tripod and a digital camera, photos shot 365/24/7, open the window on the humble pulmon and it's kaleidoscopic identities.

No PS intervention but subtle levels and contrast adjustment.
