My Memorial Day Trip..

I wanted to do something on Memorial Day that is unusual and still pertain to the cause.
So I went to Old Historic Savannah, Georgia! Use to live there- so I took pics of the old capital etc. visited with people and places that I haven`t seen in awhile.
Of course I visited the cemetarys-
I will put some of my photos on here . Can Thank my ex for this- since was his idea for me to come down--Him & his brother lives at "Steel Bridge" Think they are a little bit,"Beach Bums" (or else they just love to look at the women in bikini` that come there everyday!
Really got some good pics where my ex lives, we always went swimming at this river-- think at one time the bridge was all steel!
My sister was with me so this was an added bonus...she has lived in Sav`h, since she got married .
My older sister lived there also- her husband was in the Air Force, stationed at Hunter Field. So is a lot of history in that old Town..I was 10 yrs. old when i first went there!
And lets not forget Paula Deen and "A Lady and Sons" We went there ,but was so crowded we didn`t eat-- did get a lot of pics tho~I will put them up later.
We also went to "The Pirates House" and down River Street, and across Herman Talmadge Bridge., I had a total of 317 pics when I got home.
Lets don`t forget Krispy Kreme???? I worked there on Skidaway, before I moved back to my hometown! Just love those doughnuts coming off the line, nothing else like them!
I have niece` and nephews that live there also ,was great visiting with them.. and friends still!
Still thinking of moving back.
Well hope everyone enjoyed their holiday as well as I did! Looking forward to more of these when I retire.!
