Double expose your photos

It's a very simple technique that needs a lot of trial and error experiments. as what works for one photo might not work for another.
1- Shoot a photo
2- Shoot a texture, that could be a decaying wall, rusty door, leaves or any other texture you like
3- open both photos in photoshop
4- drag your texture above your photo pressing down your shift key.
5- change the blending modes of your texture, try all blending modes untill you reach a result that satisfy you.
6- do your final tweaking as changing to black and white or increasing lighting.

thanks for these tipps. I once did a genuine double exposure with my analogue SLR, but results are very mixed and it is hard to get good light for portrait and texture in the same moment.
