Sacramento's Cesar Chavez Park Portraits - the verticals
By John Decker
30 Mar 2009
These are the vertical images from session of the "Sacramento Portrait Project" at Cesar Chavez Park in Sacramento, CA.
There was a celebration at the park to recognize the late labor leader Cesar Chavez who was a champion of the rights of farm workers in the 1960s.
Si se Puede (or yes we can) was the motto of the farm workers. The slogan was also used by Barack Obama in the 2008 election.
Each of the participants in the portrait project gets a free signed print.
You can keep up with the developments and progression of the project at the Sacramento Portrait Project area of my web site.
