Sacramento Second Saturday Art Walk Portraits

Sacramento Portrait Project #11

On the second Saturday evening of every month there is a event in Sacramento, CA that is known as the Second Saturday Art Walk. Dozens of galleries open their doors to the hundreds of visitors who stroll from gallery to gallery viewing art and sipping wine. During the warmer months there are street performers and performance art.

On March 14, 2009 I started a photographic project which I call the "Sacramento Portrait Project."

For the inaugural session of the project I went out on Second Saturday to begin capturing images of people in Sacramento. Each of the participants receives a free print from their photo session.

I am hoping to do at least one session of portraits every month...

Enjoy,

John
