Cesar Chavez Park Portraits

On Saturday March 28, 2009 there was a celebration and march celebrating the life of the late labor leader Cesar Chavez. The march ended in Sacramento's Cesar Chavez park.
This series of portraits is a glimpse of some of the people who were at the park on this day.
These portraits are part of a larger project that is centered on photographic portraiture in the city of Sacramento.
