Fog of War
By Ryan Darcey

Long before San Francisco became the liberal center of our nation, it was host to invading conquistadors, WWII heroes and cold war paranoia. The Golden Gate National Recreation Area is riddled with evidence.
Tunnels that lead soldiers to their posts are fading into the fog. Concrete monoliths that once housed anti-aircraft weapons are consumed by nature. Modern wars have found new battlegrounds.
