Transfer of Power

I was not there but had my TV on all day so I felt like I was. My husband and I have a very good plasma TV and I was able to capture these moving and historical images off of our own screen. I spotlighted to help cover any distortion. They are not the sharpest but they tell an interesting story.
I was amazed at the affection displayed between President Obama and President Bush. Also, in the tenderness President Bush showed to our new First Lady, Michele... how he took her hand when they greeted them at the White House was very kind.
We could all learn a lesson from this day. You don't have to agree with someone to respect or admire them. It is often our differences that transcend our beliefs to help us appreciate someone else.
It takes a right wing and a left wing to fly.

It may take both wings to fly, but the right wing will fly you in the wrong direction. Very interesting, the way you shot the screens.
