My Personal Slice Of Heaven: Hollis Gardens

Nestled in the downtown of my adopted home town is Hollis Gardens. This formal botanical garden is a wonderful escape from the stress of everyday life.

Situated on just over an acre of land, Hollis Gardens has hundreds of flowers on display; as well as a koi pond, herb garden, and butterfly nook (among other areas).

Every weekend I find myself roaming around the grounds. I am constantly amazed at how how beautiful nature can be. It is one of favorite places to go, especially with my camera. The colors of every flower literally explode into the air, each one a different and unique display.
