This is one of 11 homes in the west end of Toronto sitting vacant at corner across from lovely High Park. It's an affluent neighborhood and these homes were once part of community of homes just like it - now they are the last of their kind - surrounded by 70's highrise apartment buildings.
There is one home in the center of them all that will not sell and so they slowly decay into ruin.

thanks! Paint is good, esp. laced with lead! What this image doesn't show are the intense shades the residents used to colour the walls. (those are on my flickr site) -
