How did you do this? Great!

May - this was done with my "long range macro"! I use the 70-300 with VR (vibration reduction) for a walk-around lens, and can generally get reasonably close shots. In this case - the bug-trails were a cool surprise which I never saw till I downloaded the imags.
I was shooting at ISO 2500, and the shutter was still VERY slow. So I was relying on the VR plus just leaning against a wall to get as steady as I could (no tripod here).
With the slow shutter the moving bugs made their own trails. I'll bet you could hang a bulb in the back yard and get some similar effects.
