I was surprised to see all these antennas on the summit of Mauna Kea on Hawaii Island. The peak in the background is the highest point on Mauna Kea, about 14.000 feet above sea level, making it the highest point in the Pacific. If Mauna Kea were measured from the base, which is under the Pacific Ocean, it would be the highest mountain on Earth.
The red cinders reminded me of the pictures I have seen of the surface of Mars.
