A kitchen table and dishes abandoned over 70 years ago at Bodie State Historical Park in California's high desert. Bodie is a ghost town abandoned in 1930s that has been preserved by the desert conditions. The decay of the civilization is shown in historical context of the ghost town as well as the foreshadowing of the current decline of family meal time in the modern world.
