I was moved to tears by a number of things in Beijing, but this experience was one of the most amazing. The Long Corridor at The Temple of Heaven site is a gathering place for locals who love to sing, dance, exercise and play games. Here, a man was guiding a group of 20-30 people through what I assume is a classic Chinese song. If they didn't know the words by heart, participants referred to song books. Emotions were high and I could tell from their faces and tone of voice -- without understanding the words -- that the story was of great importance.
