"Aruba Blues"
Aruba Blues. A long pier separates the harbor in the foreground from the ocean in the background, which no doubt accounts for distinctively colored waters. [NO COLOR MANIPULATION WAS APPLIED.] In addition to the colors, I was particularly struck the repetitious horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines. And that orange and blue boat adds just enough "punch" to sweeten the deal.
In the "Caribbean Chrome" photo essay.

What a wonderfully technical shot. Everything is exactly where it should be and the best part is that you have the eye to recognize it. An incredibly beautiful photograph, Rob. This would be an amazing print. R

Ok, it's like this . . . the shot was beautifully divided into three striking zones: the dark and threatening sky of the background, the deep blue of the sea in the midrange and the bright turquoise in the foreground. Then you've quite skillfully captured the repeating forms of the vertical towers and angles of the elevators. There's a wonderful accent piece in the tug center left. The photograph is very well proportioned. Nicely done! R
