It is an unwritten law amongst surfer that for everyone to enjoy natures playground, they must follow some simple ethical rules:

1. Furtherest out

2. Closest to the peak

3. First on feet

4. Call (Left or Right)

5. Don't drop in

6. Don't snake on the wave

7. Paddle wide, using the rip

8. If caught inside - stay in white water

9. Do not throw board in danger of others

10. Respect the beach and ocean and others

11. Give respect to gain respect!
