Chuck
Meet Chuck in the parking lot of the only public restroom in Luning, Nevada, U.S.A in 2005 off Hwy 95 after stopping to take pictures of an obsolete rail car loader that caught my attention. Chuck said he lived in Mina the town south of Luning and went on to explain that the rail car loader was used years ago to load minerals mined from the nearby Gillis mountain range onto passing freight trains. He explain that the Gillis range still produced magnesium, but now was trucked out of Luning instead of being loaded onto passing freight trains by the rail car loader. Chuck agreed of my picture request.
