Grilled Oysters at Donghuamen Night Market
The pungent garlic smell coming off of these was absolutely amazing! It cut through the pollution, crowds and stench of a nearby vat full of liver soup! I didn't eat these oysters in Beijing, but I intend to try to replicate them on my home grill (using giant beauties from Tomales Bay's Hog Island Oyster Co.)
