This shot was taken in Vigan City, Phillipines. This street (known as Calle Hidalgo) is a UNESCO Cultural heritage Site. The houses the you see in the pictures are old Spanish houses dated back from the time the Philippines was still a colony of Spain (you're correct, 1800's)
