World's Longest Corridor...
The Summer Palace is very beautiful and my guide insisted that its Long Corridor is the longest and best in the world.
I've never before been aware of the corridor wars, but can now say from personal experience that the corridor right across town at the Temple of Heaven may be shorter than the one seen here, but it is infinitely more interesting to visit.
Proof that size doesn’t matter, the Long Corridor at the Temple of Heaven is smaller, but the people who go there to dance, exercise, sing and play Mahjong, make it one of the world’s most spectacular attractions.
