temple of forgiveness, burning man 2007.
the temple burned on the last day. throughout the week people would visit the temple, some with pen and paper in hand; many wrote or carved their words onto the wooden walls. the words are the inner burn--sins, sorrows, memories, frustrations and fears. the temple serviced as a confessional of sorts--a combustible confessional.

Beautiful! It brought tears to my eyes as that particular temple burn was very special to me. It feels like you've captured how solemn that particular event is... unlike everything else at home :)
