My little friend, Sophia, who I'm mentoring, and her dog, Mugsy. Sophia is a fresh breeze in the typical kids her age (8).....
She's active in animal rescuing, raising Monarch butterflies, knows politics and is very interested in eating organic and recycling, art, being outside and enjoying nature and has taught ME so much! Such as: Did you know that the most un-polluted area in the WORLD is Fiji?
This is the type of child you will want on your side when she gets older--someone intersted in educating and learning, someone who has passion and takes action and doesn't just talk about what needs to be done--but who does it.
