HI lisa,
the all village has the same sort of construction. the colors and shapes are typical from this part of the country. inside they are much like an irish or Scottish cottage. the main difference would be on the size of the kitchen. in portugal the kitchen is a fundamental part of the house, so usually tend to be big. you would find as well a garden on the back, probably with some vines full of grapes.
its wort a visit to the country and to this area in particular as its right beside the ocean. absolute beautiful...
