Asterisk
Beyond the symbolic shape seen in this abstract photo, the original object has nothing to do with an asterisk.
However, the definition of an asterisk per Dictionary.com is "A small starlike symbol (*), used in writing and printing as a reference mark or to indicate omission, doubtful matter, etc."
Hmm. "...doubtful matter..."
I like the correlation and symbolism to this challenge. Are things really what they appear to be?
