A house on the high street in Lydney, Gloucestershire, UK. It's been left untouched for years, at one point it was a home, another a care home for the elderly. Nobody is really sure who owns it, there's been a long search for the deeds to find out but to no avail.

It's fallen victim to vandalism in the last few years, and a few months ago they boarded it up to try and prevent further damage.

It's a sad sight to see. It has a redwood situated in the front garden and a beautiful stone wall. The details on the building itself are stunning. From what I understand it was much loved over the years, something you wouldn't believe by seeing it now.

I want to crawl through the old gate and relive the past that was here. Beautifully composed. Sad it has now been boarded up.

I particularly like the bw and the ironwork. It all works for me!
