Our Journey

We went deep into the park. I would say about 4 miles. The sky was clear. There were no questionable clouds. Once we made it to our secluded beach, we heard rolling thunder. The rain poured on down. Soon, the lighting followed. How did we make it back to our cars? A park ranger actually saved us. Isn't that the sweetest thing? He told us he remembered seeing us venture out and wanted to drive through the woods to make sure we were OK. Two of us sat up front, two of us sat in the bed of the truck - as the rain was pouring down harder than I had ever seen.

The two up front were of course the two with the cameras.

Fun to hear your story! Great to be a photographer, isn't it, so you have a reason to stay dry.
