Inspired by Tony's book, Chasing Rickshaws, which I recently won from LP competition, I have uploaded my own rickshaw shot.
These were parked at Heerabad area of Hyderabad, Pakistan. As this was early Sunday morning, lot of these rickshaws stood there silently without their riders. They must have been sleeping in a nearby dera (dorm) after a hard day's work previous night.
Although one may find other types of rickshaws in the country, these are the standard ones. Now, some cities in the country have motor-cycle rickshaws where motorcycle is attached with the rickshaw's body. CNG fitted rickshaws have also appeared recently due to pollution concerns.
