in loving memory of my mother, jane.
a lover of the sun, a sun flower lover..
and the most wonderful woman I have ever met.
9 years since she passed away late one night...in her sleep...I remember the night before she begged me to email her a picture of my new hair cut, and I with my swifty new sony mavica (the ones that recorded directly on floppies, what a marvel !) quickly snapped a self portrait of me wearing oversized red clown sunglasses, it was that time of year (halloween).
I came to the realization after her passing of the value of photographs that make people smile, or laugh....it tickled her funny bone... she had a good laugh, and then peacefully, retired.
if your last expression can be a laugh or a smile, then you have out witted death....
I watch america's funniest pets a lot at night before I go to bed....so far, no luck, but I keep laughing, just in case.
