began in 1783 and has continued by operating in a democratic way every weekend, since.
the vendors work together with unwritten rules which they have made themselves, and most definitely deal with their own issues within the group.
here are crates from several vendors, stacked against a big van, in the alley while they peddle their veggies on a hot saturday in july.
they stack them all together in one space, but never worry that someone will take theirs.
