Redentore's fireworks
The Redentore festivity is probably one of the most important in Venice, is celebrated on the third Sunday of July, however by tradition the Venetians enjoy fireworks on Saturday at midnight.
Historically, the Redentore was celebrated for the end of the plague in the ‘500, in that occasion infact, Doge Sebastiano Venier decided to build the Redentore church at la Giudecca island and the project of Architect Andrea Palladio was realized.
