The photos are great but the information in the article is out of date. If you read about the new zoom lenses you'll see that they are just as sharp as the prime lenses. Also I'd rather adjust the zoom in a second than miss the shot thinking, "I wish I had that other lens on." Also, I want to travel light. I don't want to carry other lenses around with me. So we agree to disagree.

The photos are great but the information in the article is spot-on accurate. I think it is all about marketing, corporate profit and the desire to have the newest, most expensive toys.
I like my Nikon 50mm prime. I like my FM2 and FM10. I like my HP5. -

Be careful around railroads. You're tresspassing so you could be arrested (bummer models). Furthermore, railyards are dangerous. People unfamiliar with the dangers (like models) don't belong there. Be verrrry careful!
Every year aound 100 are hurt, some seriously.
