In the Rain
A woman strolls under her umbrella through the wet cobblestone streets of a small Italian mountain town. Melancholic, pensive image, invoking emotions of sadness and loneliness, or tranquility, serenity, peace and quiet. ...That's the official line anyway. The unofficial is that this woman is my mom, walking through the narrow street of Bergamo (a small town near Milan) on our first mother-daughter vacation together in 20 years.
