The Green Grass is on My Side
Submitted to Out of Place
This photo has long been a family favourite. Taken at Mapledurham in England in April 1994 with my Olympus 2000 35mm slr. I took a photograph of the photograph using my Nikon Coolpix 5000 so it could be posted here.
It is usually in a simple wooden frame with the following written around the edges of the frame: "the green grass is on my side","three bags full of hope", "the black sheep has no family" and "racism sucks". The darker green grass was simply in shadow.
