Tragic tale of two lovers

Such a place of beauty and yet trgic and full of lonliness. The great Mogul ruler Shah Jahan built this monument for his much loved wife Mumtaz, but was imprisoned in his house many miles from here,by his son, only to be able to view this monument through his mirror in his room. he died a very lonely man. Both are buried under the Taj Mahal.
