While trying to take this family's portrait on the beach in Seal Beach, California I ran into a problem that almost every photographer has when trying to get more than one person to look in a particular direction at the same time. It's always worse when one of the subjects plainly doesn't want to cooperate as can be seen on the left side of this portrait. It took about 7 photographs to catch all of them looking in the same direction at the same time with smiles on their faces. These weren't digital shots, I used about a half roll of film just to capture the right shot...not this one of course.
Paradise, however, is sandy beaches and palm trees, all of which were being enjoyed during this particular shoot.
