Early June, 2008. It was on the grand opening of the rehabilitated Hejaz train station in Kfar Yehoshua, Jezreel Valley, Israel. All were gathering in the small visual hall to watch the new multimedia film showing the history of the railway line once called The Valley Train (Rakevet HaEmeq) from Haifa to Damascus. Among them was a curious little boy who stole the show (at least for me). They are looking at the past. He looks towards the future.
