Stump, Whidbey Island WA
This thing was absolutely huge, about 10 feet across and 6 high. To get it into the frame I would have had to back way up, and would have lost much of the intricate surface detail I could see at close range. So this is actually a merge of six shots that I took standing close to the stump. The resolution of the composite file is very high, you can zoom in to 100th of the image and still see great detail. I'll try to post a bigger version at some point.
