Homeless Woman in Guadalajara
This woman was begging for food on a sidewalk in dowtown Guadalajara, Mexico. The downtown is like many urban centers in the USA complete with the homeless. There are a lot of beautiful places in Guadalajara's urban zone, but in every niche of old buildings there are destitute eyes glaring back a hopelessness that is not often seen in the eyes of the homeless in the States back home. There was an aura about this woman that felt like she was oozing loneliness.
She had the most worn face I had ever seen, like a desert that has not seen a rain for a few decades.
The conversation was brief, I felt humbled in her presence. She said she was hungry and did not have a home. Stare into her eyes, read her cracked face and you are able to have a silent conversation with her too.

I love this. Her eyes show such sadness.. I am sure she has thousands of stories to tell.

A whole lifetime in her incredible face/eyes. Wonder how you were able to get so close to her and what did the conversation entail?
