ISO 100. F/8. 75 Seconds

I titled this Proud because I am happy with the result of an enormous amount of work and effort.

Ok this might get complicated...

This final image was composed of four individual long exposures totaling 75 seconds.

This was not done to achieve proper exposure but to be put through a piece of software called Helicon Focus.

Each of the four images are basically identical in exposure time. Their only difference is that each image has a different focal point...When run through Helicon Focus the software merges all four image's focal points into one shot allowing me a maximum DOF while still allowing me to remain at the lens' "sweet spot" which would be F5.6-F8...F11 and beyond you start to loose sharpness and image quality.

Quite a lot of work and time in the field...This shot took (Id say) close to 15 minutes to achieve, and thats working quickly as yu must try to get the tide mist consistent through all shots while not letting the tripod sink into the sand.

JEEZ...Te things we do!

Man, I just love these. The color of that sand is soooo beautiful. Where did you shoot these?
