I was driving along on this dirt road in the forest, and this quail was sitting on the fence off of the passenger side of my van. I stopped, rolled down my window and starting taking his picture. He posed politely for me is various silhouettes for quite a few shots. I thanked him for his efforts, rolled up my window and was on my way. As I left he hopped down off the fence and went on his way.
