How does a photographer who shoots scenes in dark places, with people, enter a category such as "Photos Featuring JPG Magazine?"
Like this. So, there ya go.
This is a gelatin silver print, scanned. It was shot with a Hasselblad and Tri-X film.

The cover choice is perfect. I love it. Is the bird real?
-
Laura Hartley gave props (2 Jul 2008):
Debby - the bird is a little ceramic fellow. I tied him to a real branch from the backyard. H fell once, but did not break, thank God, since he's all I had for the shot!

Ha!! THis reminds me of art school..I had a professor who would critique our work and say..."Here take that back and use it to line a bird cage" OUCH!! He would also give us applications for jobs at Burger King as that was all we would aspire to. :)
