Has the heavy-hitting, glass-smashing, ground-breaking, face-bashing*, glory of rock been reduced to skip down the road hand-in-hand with bubblegum pop?
*Note: I am not a glorify of violence, just a lover of heavy** music.
**Also, when I say 'heavy', I do not mean 'fast'. Their are too many people (mostly young) these days that measure a MUSICIAN's talent by their speed, and I hate that!

Yeah, it just burns me up inside to see bands like KoRn and Mudvayne on the same shelf as...well I don't really know any mainstream groups (kinda ironic huh?) but you get what I mean right?
