We headed off to the Abbotsford Convent today... it is always an amazing place to explore. Today was the day of the monthly Slow Food Market with some of the most extraordinairily fresh and vibrant food produce. It is hard to believe that the convent is practically in the heart of the city. It sometimes feels so outworldly and strangely foreign. Yet I love walking through its hallways and seeing so much history before one's eyes. If only these walls could talk.

I quickly snapped the photo above as one gentleman was looking down at the courtyard below. He looked kinda solemn and I got my shot without him being none the wiser.
